Monkshill Farm

Monkshill Farm is situated on the north Kent coast overlooking the estuary and the beautiful countryside between Faversham and Whitstable. The Royal School for Deaf Children Margate purchased the farm in 1995.  We have worked hard over the years to develop it into a successful working farm with a strong educational focus.

All our cows, pigs and sheep are reared in the traditional way. Our farmyard is a home to breeding pigs with their piglets, boars and varying sizes of growing pigs plus hundreds of free range laying hens.   We produce high quality beef, pork, lamb, free range meat chickens and free range eggs. At Christmas we sell free range turkeys & geese.

Monkshill Farm's Education Centre offers a wide range of Land Based and Catering accredited courses for our own young deaf learners and also for other students attending local schools and colleges.  The Education Centre can also provide work experience placements and educational visits for schools, colleges and youth groups.
